Aujourd’hui c’était journée excursion sur l’île de Ven. Nous avons d’abord pris le train pour rejoindre le port où nous avons ensuite pris un bateau qui nous a emmené jusqu’à l’île.
Sur l’île, nous avons loué des vélos (vélos simples et tandem). Vélos assez différents des vélos français.

Nous nous sommes baladés sur l’île en vélo. Malgré le temps nuageux et très venté, nous avons beaucoup apprécié cette journée. Le paysage avec la cote sauvage était magnifique. Nous avons pu nous arrêter sur la plage où nous avons pique niqué et profité du cadre. Quelques anecdotes resteront, on peut citer par exemple l’épisode de l’algue (très bien préparé je souligne), suivi d’une « fausse vengeance ». Nous avons aussi rejoint le musée de Tycho Brae.
L’aprem midi était a notre disposition. Nous avons profité du fait que l’on ait les vélos pour decourvrir le reste de l’île. Une vraie colonie de vacances, ou une famille nombreuse, comme on veut ! Lorsque la fin de la balade approchait, nous avons alors décidé d’aller sur une plage ou deux de nos camarades se sont baignés dans une eau à 8 degrés ! Ont-il du sang suédois qui coule dans leurs veines pour être aussi fous ?

We have been in Tycho Brahe museum. He was a famous astronomer during the XVIth Century.
So there was a kind of church, where there were differents devices used by Tycho Brahe to look at the sky &amp, study the stars, with mesures and degrees.
Thanks to our guide, we learnt that he had nobles origines, and that he learnt lots of languages such as Latin and Hebrew to read the Bible. He thought that study the sky could allow him to predict the future.
The King of Danemark helped him and gave him money and protection to allow him to do his researches.
He made researches in astronomy but he also did « Alchemy Experience »: He thought that if a natural element has the same shape of a part of human body, then this element could heal this part.
We saw the foundation of the castle and noticed that everything was symmetric, because every creation of God was perfect and symmetric.
Then, we saw the observatory and learnt that lots of people did mesures and observations to have the greatest possible precision, for Tycho Brahe.
They found that the Earth was the center of the Universe and that the sum and the moon revolved around or planet ; and that the other planets revolved around the sun.
They thought that their revolution had a shape of circle, because God made things with symmetry and perfection.
Later, these theories will be refuted by Kepler.
