  1. Hi ! I’m Kyllian Abraham, and I took part in a school exchange program in Romania with Erasmus+.
I stayed one week in Romania, and it was so cool. I met a lot of people from Poland, Bulgaria, Germany and of course Romania. I’m still in touch with them via the social networks.
We slept in a hotel in the city of Ploiesti, a big Romanian city, 60 kms north of Bucharest.
With them, I did a lot of activities: I visited Bran Castle (the famous castle of Dracula), we visited the city and we did some shopping.
We left Ploiesti twice to visit Bucharest and the ski resort of Brasov and we visited two water treatment plants. We also visited a primary school in a small village.
We also studied sciences in a typical Romanian high school. We did a lot of activities about water, and we also learnt how to make cosmetics. The main theme of our project is water and its title is “Water, our precious Treasure”
This journey was so funny because we went downtown almost every night with our friends. We were free time every day even though we were accompanied by our teachers.
That journey was an amazing experience ‘cause I learnt a lot of things about other cultures, I met a lot of new friends, I traveled in a foreign country and I took the plane for the very first time; so I enjoyed it so much.
Romania is now my favorite destination. Despite all the expectations, Romanians are also very friendly people.
I would advise you to apply for an Erasmus session. It’s a wonderful experience.
